About Rain or Shine Golf
As soon as I could walk, my father had me out in the backyard swinging away with my toy golf club set. As I grew older, my Dad and I would take every opportunity we had to sneak out for a quick 9 holes or head to the driving range after school. I fell in love with the game at an early age but more importantly, I loved the time I got to spend with my father playing the game. We could not get enough.
We ran into one problem every year though…. Winter. Growing up in Wisconsin, we’d spend almost half the year with snow covering our golf courses. That meant half the year we couldn’t play the game that brought us closer together. To remedy our winter blues, we got our own indoor putting green right around when I started high school. We’d have putting challenges nightly after he got home from work and all the sudden, golf become a year-round activity for us. While this putting green wasn’t as fancy as some of the golf simulators on the market today, it allowed us to play the game we love anytime we wanted.
Rain or Shine Golf was created for people like my Dad and I who believe that golf is more than just a game. It's the glue for the closest relationships we have in our life. It’s our release from the day-to-day stresses of life. It’s the weekend activity that we look forward to all week. It holds some of our most cherished memories.
Rain or Shine Golf isn't just about selling golf equipment. We are about helping you have more fun and make more memories with the ones you want to share the game with – regardless of the weather outside. We want to help the golfers out there who refuse to store their clubs away every winter. We want to serve those who dream of getting their first hole-in-one and cannot get enough of the game.
