The Optishot 2 can be fun. I don’t think you could legitimately work on your golf game with it. It plays much like a video game, even going so far as not requiring a ball to be hit. I am already looking to build a true simulator with a Uneekor QED to actually work on various facets of my game.

Delivered in time as promise. Product OK, the turf on top of it is not the best quality but seems OK so far. Have to put something under it so the simulator is not moving when hitting the ball. Result of simulation are accurate after calibrating the clubs and projection on TV is OK too.

It would be better if they included directions with the product. The basic setup is easy, but there are many adjustments that directions would eliminate the need to keep doing trial and error.

This is not a negative review about rain or shine golf but rather the os2. First of all- if you have 100+ swing speed don’t buy the os2. The infared sensors simply aren’t meant for that. You’ll have so much reflective tape added to your clubs that you’ll hate yourself for having to take them up to read. The os2 is great for chipping and irons, honestly the driving range setting on it is amazing for your short game. That’s it- it’s an interactive cartoon video game that you don’t need a ball for- you can really hone in your chips, bump and runs and over all swing path. If you’re wanting to play real life courses- they have their knockoffs as well to avoid the licensing fee. I’ve gone through two warranty replacement units in a year and was finally cut off after my third, the sensors break or the usb plug wiggles loose. Their customer service is terrible.

I am pleased with it. I have already found out a few things about my swing that will help me like club speed and whether or not I am hitting it flush. I do wish the grass had a softer feel.
