How Much Space Do I Need?
This launch monitor requires 9'H x 12'W x 16'D recommended in order for the data to collect properly. Please be sure to swing a club in your desired space to ensure that you are comfortable and safe making a golf swing in that area.
Can This Unit Be Used Indoors And Outdoors?
This unit is tested for Indoor only. Please note, for the full suite of features, you would need to be connected to the internet.
How Do I Play Golf Courses?
1. Choose your course play software

2. Ensure an internet connection
A wi-fi connection is typically needed for golf simulation. You will also need to be sure to select a device that has the capacity to run both this launch monitor and the software option you choose.
3. Choose Your Setup
There are a variety of ways you can configure your setup for golf simulation, from net, mat, and tablet; to a full simulation bay. Please be sure to view the "What your Setup can Look Like" section above for inspiration.
4. Connect Your Device and Play!

United StatesI am a little late with this review. I purchased the system last fall so have been using the simulator for over a year now. The set up was pretty easy and it took me a little while to get it optimized (i.e. definitely need to cut back the grass so the system reads the shadows). Once you get through that, I find the ball flight and distance to be very accurate. The system punishes bad swings and rewards good swings. It's a blast and has so many different variables to play around with. I live in NJ, so getting a lot of play in the winter months. Also, the team at Rain or Shine were very helpful to me when I had trouble shooting questions and were always quick to get back to me. Definitely should consider this product!
United StatesOverall the TruGolf Vista 8 Pro is truly a great product. I compared the distance accuracy against a TrackMan and both gave similar results. The E6 Connect software that is included is pretty amazing with a lot of course options. The customer support at TruGolf is also very good. My only advice is that troubleshooting the sensor (cutting back the "grass") is better defined for future owners and my suggestion to E6 for their to do list would be to add an image of the ball lie, especially when one finds their ball in the rough and bunker.

United StatesFabulous net/cage, mat, look, and ball tracking. The installation was surprisingly simple, considering the complexity of the technology. The one problem I had (which was self-inflicted) was quickly resolved by customer support. The ball-flight, tracking, and club information is fantastic. I think the course graphics are a little dated (considering the gaming graphics now available), but I believe the best value on the market.
