Yes — a Windows gaming PC is required to run simulation software and project it onto the screen. The GC3’s on-unit touchscreen displays shot data after every swing without a PC, but course play requires a connected Windows machine. Minimum specs: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel i5/i7/i9 7th Gen+, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3060+. AMD GPUs are not recommended for FSX software. The SwingBay® comes in two enclosure sizes (8x10 or 9x12), two mat sizes (5x5 or 4x9), and two screen materials (single or triple layer). Both screens are ballistics-grade woven polyester rated to 250 mph. The triple-layer adds a noise-dampening center layer, reduces bounce-back, and delivers a superior projection surface. It’s the better choice for high-swing-speed players or heavy daily use. The single-layer is excellent for most home golfers. Our team can help you choose based on your swing speed and usage.
