The honest range runs from about $10K to $50K+, driven by four variables: launch monitor choice, enclosure type (retractable vs. built-in), who handles install (you, a local contractor, or our team), and whether the room integrates architecturally with your home. Core Foundation builds typically land $10–15K. Premium Custom typically $15–25K. Rain or Shine Signature builds start at $30K with no upper ceiling. Every build is priced for its specific room. The absolute minimum for a playable sim is 10' wide × 10' deep × 8'6" ceiling. You'll be much happier with 12'W × 15'D × 9'H for a Core Foundation or Premium Custom build, and 14'W × 18'D × 10'H for Rain or Shine Signature. Full dimension breakdown in our room-sizing guide. Ceiling height is the hardest spec to fake: a driver swing arc needs real headroom. If your room is tight in any dimension, tell us in the consultation. We've designed rooms around odd posts, low beams, and sloped ceilings.
Yes. Our install team covers the continental US. Install timelines vary by region and tier. Rain or Shine Signature builds typically run 2–5 days on-site depending on complexity. Premium Custom installs are 1–2 days when we're handling the build. Ask about your zip code during the consultation. We'll tell you what's covered out of the gate and what adds travel cost. Absolutely. Core Foundation is designed for customer install. We ship the complete kit with a build guide specific to your room, and our team is on the phone the whole way. Premium Custom often goes the same route, or buyers bring in a local contractor. For Rain or Shine Signature, self-install is still possible but we'd recommend at least a local contractor given the integrated lighting, custom-sized screens, and overhead LM mounting complexity. Experienced DIYers can start with our bundle builder to map component options before the consultation.
Depends on how you'll use the room and how much you want to spend. For simulator gameplay at Core Foundation or Premium Custom price points, Foresight GC3 or ProTee VX hit the sweet spot of data quality vs. price. For serious practice data at the Premium or Signature level, Uneekor EYE XO2 is hard to beat. For top-tier camera-based data at Rain or Shine Signature scale, Foresight GCHawk or Trackman iO. For radar-based overhead (no ball marking required), Foresight Falcon. Which fits you is a consultation conversation. Core Foundation: 2–4 weeks from consultation to kit shipped. You install on your schedule. Premium Custom: 3–6 weeks to kit shipped, plus your install timeline. Rain or Shine Signature: 6–12 weeks from consultation to fully-installed finished room. Timeline includes custom screen manufacturing, install scheduling, and any architectural integration. Multi-bay and commercial-grade builds can run longer depending on complexity.
Yes. Rain or Shine Signature frequently integrates with existing home theater, AV, and smart-home systems. Shared projector setups, dual-use media-and-sim rooms, integrated lighting scenes, audio routing through existing AV receivers, smart-home control from Lutron or Control4. Flag your AV setup in the consultation and we'll scope the integration into the design. Premium Custom can integrate at a lighter level (shared projectors, basic audio routing). Core Foundation builds generally keep AV separate so the sim room stays purpose-built.
