Have you ever wondered what golf simulator tour pros use? Well, look no further. We put together a list of the top golf simulators used by professionals. Find out who uses what and see which golf simulators are 'tour worthy'!
Foresight Sports is a top contender amongst the pros. Especially in teaching and instruction world. Many top instructors use the GCQuad including Butch Harmon, Michael Breed, and Martin Hall - who calls the GCQuad a “must have” for those serious about improving.
Rickie Fowler is also a big supporter of Foresight Sports GCQuad with a complete golf simulator setup at his home:
The GCQuad is a portable launch monitor that can be taken on the course or used indoors for golf simulation. Numerous tour pros can be spotted using Foresight Sports GCQuad during practice rounds and range sessions throughout the year.
Trackman is the top dog when it comes to tour roster. They boast a tour staff of over 350 players which is probably 5 times the nearest competitor. Dustin Johnson, Francesco Molinari, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, Jason Day, Justin Rose, among many many others use Trackman.
If you watched any coverage of this year’s U.S. Open you may have noticed that Trackman’s were set up on every single tee box of the tournament. Like the GCQuad, many of the pros use Trackman strictly as a launch monitor rather than a golf simulator.
But you can assume a decent handful have some sort of drool worthy golf simulator setup at home with the Trackman. Speaking of drool worthy things, here are Rory’s number’s on the Trackman with Driver:
Full Swing Golf has become a tour favorite for in-home golf simulator set-ups. Tour pros such as Justin Rose, Jordan Speith, Jim Furyk, Jason Day, Brandt Snedeker, and Tiger have a Full Swing Golf Simulator in their home - or at least in one of their homes.
High Definition is another Golf Simulator used by a decent amount of tour pros. Bubba Watson, Fred Couples, Steve Stricker, and a number of other tour pros have one installed at home.
GOLFZON is a golf simulator company based out of Asia that has made its way to the United States. Kevin Na and Matt Kuchar both use GOLFZON. David Leadbetter is also a brand ambassador for GOLFZON simulators.
Overall, Full Swing and High Definition golf probably have the most tour users in the built-in golf simulator category. In the indoor/outdoor launch monitor category, Trackman has the most tour user’s overall but most of the players use it strictly for numbers rather than golf simulation.
If you want to use the most popular golf simulators amongst the pros then you better pull out your checkbook because these systems are not cheap. It will cost you at least $50,000 to install a Full Swing, High Definition, or TrackMan golf simulator in your home. And most likely more.
Our Simulation Offerings will be much more affordable for the average person. In addition, there are some other great golf simulators such as SkyTrak and OptiShot 2 that are much more budget friendly. If you’d like to learn more about the best golf simulators read our Best Golf Simulators guide.
