Most projector mounts are a compromise. The universal ones wobble, the cheap ones sag over time, and almost none of them account for the ceiling you actually have. This is the mount we install in our own builds: a Pro-AV bracket on a 1.5" NPT threaded pipe, paired to the right ceiling adapter for your space and finished in matte black so it disappears overhead.
Pick your ceiling type and how far the projector needs to drop, and it ships as one complete kit. No sourcing three parts from three places and hoping the threads match.
Frequently Asked Questions
Measure from your ceiling to where the bottom of the projector needs to sit. For most 8' to 9' ceilings in a golf sim, 3" or 6" puts the lens where it belongs. Vaulted ceilings, and rooms where the golfer stands close to the screen, usually want 12" or more. Tell us your ceiling height and screen size and we will spec it for you.
Standard covers a flat drywall ceiling or a single exposed joist. Vaulted is any sloped or angled ceiling. Truss is open framing, common in garages, barns, and commercial builds. If you are unsure, send us a photo.

Yes. The 1.5" NPT pipe is hollow and the bracket has a pass-through, so HDMI and power can be routed internally for a clean finished look.
