Dual High-Speed Cameras
MEASURED BALL DATA, NOT ESTIMATED
Two high-speed cameras photograph the ball through impact and report what they actually see: ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, spin, and carry. Nothing is inferred from a flight model after the fact. This is the same optical approach Foresight uses across its launch monitor line, now in its lowest-cost unit.
Indoor And Outdoor
THE NUMBERS DO NOT CHANGE WHEN THE ROOM DOES
Use it in a finished simulator bay, in the garage hitting into a net, out on the range, or on the course. Because the cameras measure the ball directly rather than reading ball flight, you get the same readings indoors that you get outside.
Full Ball Data
FOURTEEN BALL DATA POINTS ON EVERY SHOT
Carry, total distance, ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, back spin, side spin, total spin, spin axis, offline, peak height, descent angle, hang time, and curve. The GC2 is a ball data unit. If you want club delivery numbers such as club head speed, club path, and angle of attack, that starts at the Foresight GC3.
Simulation Ready
RUNS PREMIER THROUGH A FORESIGHT+ MEMBERSHIP
The GC2 ships with a 30 day Foresight+ Gold membership including Course Pass Pro, which runs Premier for full simulator course play plus the Foresight app on your phone. Foresight+ is a paid annual membership once the 30 day period ends, so budget for it the same way you budget for the screen and the mat.
Complete the Setup
Build a Full Simulator Around the Foresight GC2
A launch monitor is the data engine, but you'll need the rest of the bay to play golf. Our SwingBay simulator packages bundle everything around the Foresight GC2 at the center: enclosure, screen, projector, mat, and mount.
What is the Foresight GC2?
The GC2 is Foresight's entry level photometric launch monitor. It sits beside the ball, photographs impact with two high-speed cameras, and reports fourteen ball data points per shot. It carries a 2.8 inch color display on the unit itself, runs on an internal lithium-ion battery, and connects over USB-C, WiFi, or Ethernet. At 4.5 pounds and roughly a foot tall it is genuinely portable, so the same unit that lives in your bay can go to the range on the weekend.
It is a ball data instrument rather than a full club delivery instrument. That is the deliberate trade Foresight made to bring the price down, and for a lot of golfers it is the right trade: ball data is what drives distance, dispersion, and every shot you see on a simulator screen.
Why Choose the Foresight GC2?
Straight framing: the GC2 is one of several good options in this price band, and the right pick depends on your room, your budget, and how you plan to use it.
Choose the GC2 if you want Foresight's camera-based measurement and you care most about ball data, simulator play, and being able to carry the unit outdoors. Choose something else if club delivery data is the whole reason you are buying, in which case step up to a unit that measures the club, or if you would rather pay once for software than carry an annual membership.
One thing worth being clear about before you buy: simulator course play on this unit runs through a Foresight+ membership. The first 30 days are included. After that it is an annual cost on top of the hardware. We would rather you know that now than find out in week five.

Frequently Asked Questions
The GC2 uses a dual high-speed camera system. Two cameras photograph the golf ball through impact and measure it directly, which is what photometric launch monitors do, rather than tracking the ball down range with radar and calculating backwards from its flight. Direct measurement is why the unit reads the same indoors into a screen as it does outdoors on the range.
No. The GC2 is a ball data unit and reports fourteen ball parameters per shot. It does not report club head speed, club path, angle of attack, face angle, or impact location. Foresight starts club data at the GC3 and GC3S. If club delivery numbers are the reason you are buying a launch monitor, look at those instead and we will happily talk you through the difference.
The GC2 runs Premier, Foresight's PC based simulation software, through a Foresight+ membership. Every unit includes 30 days of Foresight+ Gold with Course Pass Pro. After that window, continuing to play simulator courses requires an active paid membership plus a Course Pass. Foresight publishes the current tiers and pricing on their Foresight+ site, and we will confirm the exact combination you need for the way you want to play before you order.
Yes. Foresight builds it for both. It works in a simulator bay, in a garage hitting into a net, at the range, and on the course. The unit weighs 4.5 pounds and runs on an internal lithium-ion battery, so taking it with you is realistic rather than theoretical.
Foresight has not published a placement distance or minimum room dimension for the GC2 yet. As a general rule for a side-of-ball photometric unit you want enough width to swing freely with the unit beside you, and a standard simulator bay depth. Rather than guess at numbers for your specific room, send us your measurements and we will confirm the layout before you buy.
The GC2 launch monitor, a power adapter and cable, an alignment stick, 30 days of Foresight+ Gold membership with Course Pass Pro, and a one year warranty. A simulator also needs an enclosure or net, a screen, a projector, and a hitting mat, which is what our simulator packages bundle together.
