Triple-Camera Capture

THREE HIGH-SPEED CAMERAS ON EVERY SHOT

Three synchronized high-speed cameras read the ball and club at impact and return 35 data points across ball, club and trajectory in under a third of a second. Camera-based capture measures spin and launch from images of the ball instead of estimating them, which is what you want on wedges, partial swings and putts.

Built-In Touchscreen

RUN A FULL SESSION WITHOUT A PHONE OR LAPTOP

The Spica 3 has its own touchscreen. Change clubs, run drills and review every shot on the unit itself, with nothing to pair before you hit. When you want your history on your phone, NFC connects the GolfJoy app with a tap.

9-Axis Stabilization

SELF-LEVELS ON A MAT, GRASS OR THE DRIVEWAY

A 9-axis gyroscope, a barometer and temperature sensors keep the unit calibrated wherever you set it down. Put it on a hitting mat, a patch of grass or the driveway and it corrects for the surface, so the numbers hold up when you move between the range and the garage.

Software Options

PLAYS GSPRO, E6 CONNECT AND CREATIVE GOLF

The Spica 3 connects to GSPro, E6 Connect and Creative Golf, plus GolfJoy's own PC software and app. A three-month trial of GolfJoy PRO's Diamond plan is included, and the GolfJoy mobile app is free for practice. GSPro and E6 Connect are licensed separately through their makers, so you choose the course software you actually want to play.

All-Day Battery

A FULL RANGE DAY ON ONE CHARGE

A 12,800 mAh battery runs the Spica 3 for six to seven hours and recharges in about four. It is built for indoor and outdoor use, so the same unit covers a morning at the range and an evening in the simulator.

Build a Full Simulator Around the GolfJoy Spica 3

A launch monitor is the data engine, but you'll need the rest of the bay to play golf. Our SwingBay simulator packages bundle everything around the GolfJoy Spica 3 at the center: enclosure, screen, projector, mat, and mount.

What is the GolfJoy Spica 3?

The GolfJoy Spica 3 is a portable, camera-based launch monitor. Three high-speed cameras capture 35 data points across ball, club and trajectory, a built-in touchscreen runs sessions without a phone, and 9-axis stabilization keeps it accurate on any surface. It runs six to seven hours on its internal battery, works indoors and out, and connects to GSPro, E6 Connect, Creative Golf and GolfJoy's own software.

Why Choose the GolfJoy Spica 3?

Three reasons. First, it is camera-based with three cameras, so spin and launch are measured from images of the ball rather than inferred, and it reads club data too, which matters most on short shots and partial swings. Second, the built-in touchscreen means a session starts when you turn it on, not when your phone finds it. Third, it moves easily between the garage and the range: it self-levels on any surface and the battery lasts a full practice day. If you only need ball data, the Foresight GC2 and the Square Golf Omni sit a tier below.

Not sure whether the Spica 3, the GC2 or the Omni fits how you practice? Tell SimSquad how you play and we will give you a straight answer.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Foresight GC2 uses two high-speed cameras, measures ball data only and shows results on a small 2.8 inch display, with simulator play running through a Foresight+ membership. The Spica 3 adds a third camera, measures club data as well as ball data, has a built-in touchscreen and connects to GSPro, E6 Connect and Creative Golf. The GC2 sits a tier below. Pick it if ball data is all you need; pick the Spica 3 if you want club data and a screen you can run a session from.

The Square Golf Omni is also camera-based, with four high-speed cameras beside the ball and more than 20 ball and club metrics. Ball data works with any standard ball, club data uses small stickers that come in the box, and it connects to GSPro, E6 and Square's own software with no annual subscription for the core experience. The Spica 3 reports 35 data points, has a built-in touchscreen and runs six to seven hours on its battery. The Omni sits a tier below and is a strong pick on total cost of ownership; the Spica 3 is the step up in data and on-unit control.

To play simulator courses, plan on one. GSPro and E6 Connect are each licensed through their makers. GolfJoy PRO, GolfJoy's PC software, includes a three-month trial of its Diamond plan and needs a paid plan after that. The GolfJoy mobile app is free with limited features for practice.

Yes. It is rated for both, and the 9-axis stabilization corrects for uneven ground, so you can set it on a mat, grass or a driveway.

The Spica 3 measures ball and club data from high-speed images rather than estimating it, the same approach camera-based units use in higher tiers. For the shots most golfers practice, full swings, wedges and putts, it is accurate enough to train with and to play simulator rounds.

The 12,800 mAh integrated battery runs six to seven hours and recharges in about four hours with the included power adapter.

The Spica 3, a power adapter, a network cable, clubhead stickers, a rubber tee, a lens cloth and a brush.

It carries GolfJoy's manufacturer warranty. As an authorized dealer, we handle claims with GolfJoy for you through SimSquad.
