What is the Optoma GT2300HDR?
The GT2300HDR is a 1080p Full HD laser short throw projector, 3,600 lumens with a 0.496:1 throw. It replaces the GT2000HDR in Optoma's home entertainment line and keeps the same short throw approach that made that model a common pick for compact sim bays.
It accepts 4K and HDR sources with HDR10 and HLG support, has two HDMI 2.0 inputs, and can be run from the Optoma Smart Control app for setup and image alignment.
Why Choose the Optoma GT2300HDR?
Straight framing: this is a 1080p projector, not native 4K. On an impact screen at normal viewing distance, brightness and throw matter more than resolution, and that is where this unit puts its money.
