The EYE XR is a photometric system — ball and club data are captured optically at high frame rates, and spin is directly measured, not calculated from club data. Uneekor’s accuracy benchmarks validated across their lineup are: backspin within ±100 RPM, launch angle within ±0.5°, ball speed within ±0.3 MPH, and clubhead speed within ±0.5 MPH. Face Angle is estimated via proprietary formula and is accurate for simulation and practice use, though it is not a raw optical measurement.
Yes — a Windows PC is required. There is no iPad, tablet, or mobile app support. Minimum specs are an Intel i5 8400 or faster, 8GB RAM (16GB recommended when using Swing Optix), GeForce GTX 1060 or faster, and Windows 10 (64-bit). For running third-party software at 4K, Uneekor recommends an Intel i7 10th gen or faster, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 30 series or faster, and Windows 11. The PC is not included with the EYE XR. The main differences are mounting direction and data point count. The EYE XR is rear-mounted (above and behind the golfer) while the EYE XO is front-mounted (above and in front of the ball). The EYE XO captures 24 data points vs. 19 on the EYE XR. Both use the same Dimple Optix ball tracking, require no markings, and run on the VIEW ecosystem. The EYE XR ships with two Swing Optix cameras included; on the EYE XO they’re sold separately.
